Hemet, CA (March 17, 2016) – Golden Village Palms RV Resort, California’s largest luxury RV resort, announced today that it will host the 2nd Annual Vintage Trailers and Campers Classic Show from Wednesday, April 27th to Sunday, May 1st.
The event, which features some of the country’s finest vintage trailers and campers, promises to be even bigger than last year with a host of activities and entertainment geared towards attendees of all ages. This year’s show will have a Country Western theme as a nod to California’s official outdoor play and America’s longest running drama, “Ramona,” which runs concurrently at Hemet’s Ramona Bowl Amphitheater.
During the five-day event, Golden Village Palms guests and the general public can enjoy a number of “throwback” events including Beach Boys and CCR tribute bands; a bluegrass band performance; an old time farmer’s market; a country western themed party featuring a cowboy shootout; a classic 50s sock hop; vintage product vendors; a vintage fashion show; a vintage pet parade; and more. On Saturday, April 30th from 10am to 2pm, the general public can travel back in time with tours of the vintage trailers and a walk through a vintage car show.
“Following the tremendous response to last year’s inaugural event, we are pleased to once again welcome many of the country’s most exquisite vintage trailers and campers to our resort and to share with the public these extraordinary pieces of RV history. While here, visitors can also partake in countless other activities while also experiencing everything that our resort has to offer,” stated Golden Village Palms’ General Manager Michael Carle.
