Yesterday I was talking to a friend who lives in Hawaii Kai who told me something which made me, literally – fall off my chair.
She has never been to the “Westside”…
She’s lived here all her life and went to Kapolei once, years ago, to the waterpark. Otherwise, she’s never, ever been past that endzone. Hard to believe, I know. But she then says she’s not the only one!
Perhaps you’re one of them – or not. Either way, if you’re tired of being couped up in the house and need a good excuse to drive around the island – why not order take out from one of the many restaurants needing your support right now? We did!
There are so many restaurants at Ka Makana Ali’i, that need some love – and with the different food options, the nice long drive out to Kapolei would be worth it. Albeit, you’ll have to eat your takeout in the car since all the parks are closed – but hey, you have nothing else better to do.
Food and Restaurants Still Open at Ka Makana Ali’i
Here are some food and restaurant suggestions, incase you’re needing a little push off the couch;
- Order every local’s favorite breakfast plates at Koa Pancake House, offering online ordering and curbside pick-up.
- For a quick weekend snack, Uncle Lani’s Poi Mochi has switched over to a food truck parked in the Macy’s parking lot for quick take-out orders of poi mochi.
- Limon Rotisserie is still roasting that amazing chicken and offering 10% off take-out orders from their new take-out menu that even features family combos.
- There are so many options for dinner with Moani Island Bistro & Bar’s new take-out menu (attached) with non-contact pick-up, curbside pick-up or delivery.
- For dessert, West Oahu’s only Cheesecake Factory is offering curbside pick-up and delivery service.
