What’s On In March On Oahu

Spring is officially here. The weather’s beginning to warm up, the rains get fewer and far between, and best of all, it’s cherry blossom season.

Apart from viewing the cherry blossoms in Japan during cherry blossom season, Oahu is one of our five favorite stateside spots to see them in bloom. There are over six dozen cherry blossom trees right off the H2 freeway in Wahiawa—drive down California Ave to see the sakura in bloom.

In addition to being mesmerized by things in bloom, March brings with it plenty of other fun outdoor activities and enriching experiences for locals and visitors alike.

It can get overwhelming knowing how to spend your free time while on the island, which is why we’ve decided to start a monthly series rounding up the best family-friendly events each month of the year.

From the beloved Honolulu Festival that resumes in all its glory after a three-year pandemic hiatus to a family volunteer day at one of Oahu’s historic spaces and fishpond, here’s everything you and your family need to check out this March on Oahu.

Here’s What to Expect This March on Oahu
