We’ve spent the last several months in 2014 traveling through Europe in our used RV, humbly called “Homer.”
Homer was a champ, making sure we got to each campsite stress-free and worry-free and breakdown free. But all would not be perfect it if wasn’t for certain campsites that really made our camping trip wonderful.
We will no longer opt for hotel stays in cities when visiting Europe in the future, but instead stay at local campsites which provide everything a family would need for a perfect holiday. Most if not all of these campsites rent bungalows and chalets which include a bathroom and kitchenette for much less than a hotel which can get expensive when you’re a family for 4-6.
Each of these sites were perfect in their own little way. Some were fancy with waterslides and shuttle service to and from town. Others were peaceful and quiet.
All we highly recommend for their professionalism, safety, fun, distance to city and cleanliness.
